The Sorcerer's Prison or The Pit is a very large and deep underground pit that was used to imprison The Sorcerer for 800 years.
Description[]
The pit is directly beneath Norrisville High School with the entrance of the prison being the mosaic of a carp on the floor of the main lobby of the school, which can be opened by using the Sorcerer's Key. The Eye of Eternities or the sacred Tengu Stone embedded into the mosaic used as the carp's eye is what prevents the Sorcerer from escaping his prison. In the middle of the pit directly underneath the entrance, there is a tall pillar atop which the Sorcerer sits bounded by chains and cuffs on his wrist.
It is unknown how the pit came to be, if it had been dug out or if it already existed prior to it being used as a prison.
There are several different pipes and vents all across the high school that directly leads to the pit. These pipes allow the Sorcerer to release his Stank which turns emotionally vulnerable people into monsters. The large space and eerie fog gives the pit an otherworldly vibe. It is currently the resting place of the remaining six Chaos Pearls and Howard's shoe from "Ball's Well That Friends Well".
Trivia[]
- The circle on the floor of the pillar has hiragana and katakana in it which roughly translate to, "Wake up soul; one who makes others proud; see the shore; a meaningless song; right and left; left and right".
- The pillar has a hole in the middle with a metal grate. It is unknown what purpose it serves, or how it was installed.
