"The McHugger Games" is the forty-first episode of the first season of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. It premiered on November 2, 2013.

Synopsis[]

In order to score a limo ride with soccer super star Pitch KickhamNinja swipes a pair of shorts to help him win a shoot-out competition. When McFist sends an I.D. Bot to find the shorts, Randy's identity is compromised and Howard must take Randy's place in the competition.

Plot[]

The episode starts with the advertisement about whoever can block Pitch Kickham's shot gets a limo ride with him to the airport. Howard is saving a spot in line for Randy to take part. However, it turns out that Randy is having a battle with McFist while Howard is complaining through the phone because he can't sit. Randy asked him to try leaning, but Howard says he got five minutes before he leave's the line. Randy escapes, but before going he steals a pair of McHuggers.

After de-transforming, Randy quickly took a bus and the NinjaNomicon glowed in it. Randy believes he has only two stops to the Nomicon, and shloomps inside. The Nomicon, knowing what Randy has done, warns him that if he steals, he would pay the price:

"A Ninja's hand is to give, not to take"

However, Randy doesn't listen, instead retorting to the Nomicon that people like McFist deserve to get robbed.

When Randy reaches the stadium, Howard is last in line because he chose to lean. Howard is initially mad at Randy, until he learns that Randy has the McHuggers on. As Howard inspires Randy, more people are injured because of Pitch Kickem's shot. Randy then realizes there is a soccer ball looking robot scanning for the Ninja, which is him who has stolen the pair of McHuggers, but he doesn't know how to remove his McHuggers. Howard tries helping, only for them to embarrass themselves as Flute Girl says that they are idiots again. Randy leaves the lines, hoping to take the shorts off in the bathroom, but he can't open the door because his hand are stuck in it.

As the spherical robot rolls closer and more threateningly, Randy kicks it away in a panic. The ball targets Pitch instead, which surprises McFist, thinking Pitch is the Ninja until Viceroy reminds him that he has a pair of it too. McFist starts to complain about Viceroy's plan, although Viceroy reminds him again that it is his plan. Meanwhile, Randy manages to put on the mask by biting it and tossing it up. Viceroy then activates Robo-Hooligans to attack, and Randy has to fight them with his hands tied up. However, he begins to have difficulty once the I.D. Bot starts to attack.

Luckily, Pitch uses a bicycle kick to send the spherical robot away, and Howard manages to catch as it stop in front of the goal. The audience cheers for Howard, who holds the ball while it is shooting laser, thus destroying the second wave of hooligan robots. Pitch offers to handshake the Ninja, but Randy can't do it with his stuck hand and uses his foot as an alternative, which causes Pitch to think it's a Ninja thing. As Randy asks Pitch how to remove the McHuggers, Pitch tells that on left of the McHugger that a zip to make it loose. After destroying the ball robot, Randy returns the sullied McHuggers to McFist, to McFist and Viceroy's dismay. In the end, Randy and Howard ride in the limo, which turns out to be driven by Pitch, and both boys are happy that things have turned out well in the end.
