Scott Thomas

Scott Thomas, full name Scott Thomas Reynolds, is one of the creators of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, executive producer, writer and additional voice actor.

Personal Life

Scott Thomas Reynolds was born in 1986 in San Diego and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. Originally from Coffeyville, Kansas, Scott attended the University of Kansas where he earned degrees in English and Film. He has written TV movies and teleplays for various networks including Netflix, Syfy, MTV, VH1, the CW, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and ABC family.

His mother's name is Marianne Reynolds. His father, Lee R Reynolds, works in Insurance Management. He has an older sister, Elizabeth (Niki) who is a massage therapist in Oregon. At Horizon High School, Reynolds was involved in Sports, Theatre, Choir and school musicals. Reynolds attended the University of Arizona, where he majored in Acting with a focus on Musical Theatre. He graduated college to move to New York. Before the move, he spent a year in Japan as a carpenter, in China as a gardener and traveled through Europe. While cultivating his acting career, Reynolds supports himself by working at a production company as a Production Coordinator.

Currently, he lives in Sherman Oaks, California with his wife and two daughters.

Career

In his earlier career, Scott was the writer of two Scooby-Doo films (Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy and Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare), Celebrity Deathmatch, Paris Hilton's My New BFF, My Super Psycho Sweet 16 Parts 1-3, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Whiskey Business, and R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour.

In 2012, he and co-creator Jed Elinoff created Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja.

As of 2015, Scott and Jed are the creators and executive producers of Disney Channel's original series, Best Friends Whenever.

In 2019, Scott and Jed are the writers of the comedy horror film and re-imagining of Hanna-Barbera's 1968 children's television series The Banana Splits.
