You enjoy those snacks, Ninja. Your greatest battle is just around the bend.

–The Creep, "Ball's Well That Friends Well"

"The Creep" (which was the only name he was given throughout the series) is the messenger chosen to deliver the NinjaNomicon and the Ninja Mask for the Norrisville Ninja. According to co-creator Scott Thomas in a Tumblr post, he is immortal.

He can be found in nearly every episode of the series. He is first seen delivering the Ninja Mask and NinjaNomicon to the next Ninja, Randy Cunningham, in the first episode. Not much is known about this mysterious person other than he is a bus driver at Norrisville High.

Physical Appearance

The Creep is a man with red beard and hair, wearing a signature dark brown cowboy hat. His modern day attire consists of a green and white T-shirt, dark blue pants, white socks, and brown boots.

His past attire during the time of ancient Norrisville was of a dark green robe with yellow and black accents.

Personality

The Creep is a rather cryptic man, lurking around mysteriously, thus very little about his personality is known, aside form a few instances that shows glimpses of what he likes such as food as he is seen a number of times around food. For example, he sneaked into McFist Industries Christmas party and was shoving food into his pants, another time when he was seen eating with Mrs. Dempsey at the Norrisville High Mustache Society party, as well as when he was selling tacos at the Norrisville Food Faire.

History

His first appearance is in "Last Stall on the Left," when his shadow is seen while he exits Randy's room, and the top of his head, cowboy hat, orange-brown hair, and blue eyes are seen at the window before he disappears.

He appears in the episode "Got Stank" booing Bucky (in fact, he's the one who booed first). Here, his full body is seen, displaying a mustache/beard combo and door-knobby knees and pants ripped at the knees. It can only be assumed that he stayed in Norrisville High to watch Randy's progress as a ninja.

He appears again in "So U Think U Can Stank" in an overview of the hallway at the beginning.

He can be spotted grinning in the crowd of children at the cafeteria during the slow clapping in "Gossip Boy"; however, he does not slow clap with the others.

Although he does not appear in "McFists of Fury" he is unknowingly mentioned by Randy when he exclaims McFist should be "Bruce McCheese."

He makes another cameo in "Monster Dump," being in the front row holding the steering wheel of the same bus Randy and Howard were in, implying that he is the school bus driver.

In "Night of the Living McFizzles," he was one of the zombies.

He walks behind Howard and Randy during Jacques's interview with Heidi in "Shoob Tube."

He was in the ending of "Escape from Scrap City," tipping his hat to Randy and McFist for escaping.

He's seen with Mrs. Dempsey at McFist's Secret Stache Party in "Secret Stache."

He's seen in "Bring Me the Head of Ranginald Bagel!" behind the execution bot which is hunting for Randy and Ranginald.

In "Silent Punch, Deadly Punch," he was shown stuffing his pocket with free food at McFist's Christmas party. Howard thought he was the intruder that McFist was looking for because he was stealing the food. Strangely enough, his hair wasn't orange in this appearance, but brown.

He watches the Norrisville Chess Championship in "Stanks Like Teen Spirit."

In "Stank'd to the Future," he walks by the classroom during Slimovitz's announcement that school was released early.

He was watching the competition in "Wave Slayers."

He had a short cameo in "Grave Puncher: The Movie!" as he passes by Randy, Howard, and Heidi for the scene change.

He's seen in "The McHugger Games," waiting in line to block Pitch Kickham's shot. (It's during a transition of scenes right after Pitch rips his shirt off.)

In "Rise of the Planet of the Robo-Apes," he is seen on Barfa Centauri; his hair is brown in this appearance as well.

In "Pranks for Nothing" he is seen in the crowd cheering for Randy and Howard because of "sophomore level respect."

In "McSatchlé" he buys popcorn from Randy and Howard for a movie he's about to watch.

In "The Ninja Supremacy," he cheers for Randy when he finally defeats the Psycho-Bot and is revealed that he is just a messenger, not the Ninja.

In "McOne Armed and Dangerous," he appears to be socializing with Greg and Sundown through the whole episode.

In "Randy Cunningham: 13th Century Ninja," he is seen running away from the Sorcerer when he is freed in the future.

He drives the bus that helps Randy free Catfish from the Sorcerer's control in "Welcome Back Catfish."

He was at Cluckfest at the end of "McFear Factor".

In "Best Buds" he is seen at the start of the episode standing inside a taco stand.

He appears as a window washer at "Weinerman Tested, Cunningham Approved" when the Ninja lands by him.

He attempts to avoid hitting Evil Julian and fails, crashing the school bus in "Big Trouble in Little Norrisville."

He watches along with Sundown as Randy pulls the missile back with the school flag in "Randy Cunningham's Day Off."

He appears driving the vehicle which carries the cage in "The Brawn Also Rises" onto which Randy Cunningham as the Ninja hops in order to follow the stanked Brawn Brickwall as he carries off Howard Weinerman.

He drives the bus that takes Randy and Howard back to town at the end in "Fudge Factory."

He was invited to Julian's birthday party and watched Sinjin Knightfire's show in "Julian's Birthday Surprise."

He can be seen at the start of "Best Buds" at a taco stand called "Taco no Prisoners" which is a pun on the popular phrase "take no prisoners".

He was seen in a snowmobile in "Snow-Klahoma!".

"When Howie Met Randy" reveals that he chose Randy as the current Ninja after witnessing how Randy helped the Ninja of '05 unintentionally as a six-year-old.

He's in line to make his own music video in "Bro Money Bro Problems".

He finally speaks for the first time just before walking away in "Ball's Well That Friends Well," where he says that the Ninja's greatest battle is yet to come.

Abilities

Not much is known about his abilities which he possesses. He can drive a bus, however. He was also able to enter Randy's room, leave the box with the Nomicon, the mask and a couple of notes, and leave.

Trivia

  • His character seems to be painted in brighter colors than other characters during crowd scenes, most likely to suggest his importance.
  • When Randy received the Ninja Mask and Nomicon, he also found handwritten notes. It's likely that the Creep was the one who wrote them.
  • He is a member of the "Norrisville High Mustache Society."
  • He slightly resembles famous actor Chuck Norris. Both have blue eyes, a beard, and slightly dark hair.
  • The RC9GN animation crew named this guy "the Creep" because he's "always seen in episodes creeping around."
    • In addition, in RC9GN Blooper Reel Featuring "The Creep", in which the show was supposedly filmed as live action at a studio, the "director" of the show refers to him directly as "Creep" while calling him to the set and complimenting him for his job.
  • He seems to work many jobs, as seen in "Monster Dump," "Weinerman Tested, Cunningham Approved" and "McSatchlé."
  • As it had been confirmed that the Messenger was the one to whom First Ninja gave the mask and Nomicon, it would have meant that the Messenger was over eight hundred years old, even older than the Ninjas' legacy. In fact, Secrets of the 9 revealed he was from a period further before First Ninja and the establishment of Norrisville. Essentially, the Creep himself is the oldest known character alive in the series.
    • Secrets of the 9 also revealed the reason why the Creep and the Nomicon chose Randy after he witnessed Randy and Howard's actions in "When Howie Met Randy" was knowing that the boy's goodhearted personality and also his ability to learn from his mistakes, hence him trusting the Nomicon's judgement on choosing Randy as the Ninja.
  • He's surprisingly ruthless when driving, driving through crowds of students (who run away) when Randy asks him to drive in "Welcome Back Catfish."
  • In Gossip Boy, he was the only one in the cafeteria not seen clapping during the students's slow-clap for Howard, when Howard revealed about the use of roadkill in the cafeteria food.
  • In Night of the Living McFizzles, he was seen as one of the many who succumbed to the zombie horde after consuming the McFizzles.
  • "Silent Punch, Deadly Punch" revealed that he might have a habit of stealing food from parties.
