Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja's Theme Song is the opening of the show. It was written by the show's composer Brad Breeck. The full version played only in front of a couple of episodes before it was shortened.
Full Lyrics
Randy: For 800 years, Norrisville High has been protected by a Ninja.
No one knows that every four years a new warrior is chosen.
Voices: Go, Ninja!
Randy: A freshman to fight the forces of evil.
I am the Ninja.
I am Randy Cunningham!
Voices: Smoke bomb!
What the hey!
Come on, you!
What the juice!
He's so bruce!
That's the cheese!
Ninja, please!
Ninja, rock!
Don't stop!
What the hey!
Come on, you!
Do it, Ninja!
What the juice!
He's a hero!
Come on, fighter!
Just a freshman,
And a Ninja!
(guitar plays)
Randy: Smoke bomb!
Shortened Lyrics
Voices: Go, Ninja!
Randy: I was chosen to protect my school from the forces of evil.
I am the Ninja.
I am Randy Cunningham!
(guitar plays)
Voices: Smoke bomb!
Howard Version
In "The Ninja Supremacy", the theme song is changed because Howard replaces Randy as the Ninja. The song focuses on Howard, including him singing along unsuccessfully to the lyrics.
Howard: For 800 years, the Ninja of Norrisville has battled the forces of Evil...
Unless that ninja forgets who the cheese he is...
In which case his best friend has to step up!
I am Howard Weinerman!
(As the Chorus raps the words in the background as per the normal version of the song)
Howard:
What the hey!
And something "you!"
And "what the juice!"
And "he's so bruce!"
And something "cheese!"
And "Ninja, please!"
And something "rock!"
But something "stop!"
Ninja, hey!
Come on, you!
Do the Ninja!
What the juice!
What's the words?
Forgot the words!
Don't know this song,
But it ends in "Ninjaaaa!"
(guitar plays)
Howard (pulling at the Ninja pants): Urrrk!

Trivia
- The full version only played in front of a couple of episodes, before it was shortened.
- The opening theme is used as the ringtone for Randy's phone.
- The squid image on Howard's McTop appears on a building as a logo for a soda.
- Randy's new sword, which he gets in "Sword Quest", appears in the opening.
- Stevens is seen flirting with a not-too-pleased looking Theresa Fowler in the opening before she gets stanked.
- Despite the opening showing Randy kicking stanked Theresa among the stanked monster students, he actually never did that to her whenever she was in a stanked state in the series.
- Howard wears a necklace with the McFist Industries logo in a few scenes. The necklace looks really similar to the dove from The Hunger Games.
- In the unfinished version of the opening, Randy carried a scabbard for his sword instead of holding it in his scarf. There was also a different title card without the Norisu Nine symbols and animations.
- It's revealed in an article that the opening was made during the first four months of 2012.
