"Grave Puncher: The Movie!" is the twenty-third episode of the first season of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. It premiered on March 25, 2013.

Synopsis[]

Randy and Howard sneak out to watch a midnight movie premiere but the villain from the Grave Puncher 6D Movie comes to life by accident.

Plot[]

The episode starts with Randy and Howard explaining their excitement for the new and only world premiere of the 6D film of Grave Puncher. Heidi quickly spoils the fun by exclaiming that their parents wouldn't want her to let them go to a midnight movie while they are out, much to Howard's disappointment. Randy brushes off the disappointment and claims that the NinjaNomicon has the answers for an escape. The Nomicon shows Randy the Art of Escape, where a Ninja creates a mannequin to put in place of him while he escapes the room through the window. The Nomicon then warns Randy that "Deceit often comes at a price," which Randy dismisses out of excitement. Randy and Howard make dummies with MP3 sound effects to trick Heidi and escape out of the window to the theater while Heidi is studying for her driver's test.

Randy and Howard sneak in to the theater through the ladder after they found out the tickets were sold out. Randy accidentally knocks over a drink and McSquiddles onto the projector, causing a malfunction, which Randy dismisses since the moviee is about to commence. Randy and Howard find a seat next to Viceroy and McFist, with Randy being highly uncomfortable being around his worst enemy. Howard forces them to stay, saying there were no more seats. The movie starts, but then the malfunction that Randy accidentally caused earlier enables the Puncher to become real and to start attacking people, whose seats he sees as graves. McFist assumes this is the 6D effect, but Viceroy reveals that it is actually 7D, in which the fictional characters become real. While people slowly figure out that this isn't part of the movie, Randy tries to convince Howard to escape; Howard, however, refuses (although everyone else has already escaped) since he wants to know how the movie ends, however, Randy countered saying that it ends him being obliterated.

Randy goes Ninja and engages the Puncher in a battle; however, all his new and improved techniques are no match for the Puncher itself. Randy manages to figure out that he must destroy the projector to pay the price for their deceit; in a Ninja Rage he uses a new attack, the Ninja Tengu Fireball. Howard is annoyed at Randy for destroying the only projector that could create 6D effect before the ending. Heidi catches them both and tries to report it to her parents, but her parents condemn her, much to her exasperation, which Howard considers a happy ending. Randy, however, feeling guilty and understanding the Nomicon's lesson, takes the blame on himself and Howard. Heidi is relieved and thanks Randy, mispronouncing his name once more, much to Randy's annoyance.

McFist blames Viceroy for his destroyed theater, but when Sundown passes by and exclaims that he can't wait to spend his money to watch it again and again, McFist takes the glory and commands an irritated Viceroy to the 7D working again. Randy and Howard endure one week of being grounded, but afterward immediately start playing Grave Puncher again.
