Miss Mary Elizabeth Ringwald, also known as Tawny, is the poetry teacher of Norrisville High.
History[]
Her first name is Mary Ann Elizabeth, but people tend to call her "Tawny". As a teenager back in 1985, she was to have gone to the prom with Dickie, but he apparently stood her up; in reality, however, he had been stanked by the Sorcerer, and due to the willful negligence of Mac Antfee, the Ninja of that term, Dickie had been sealed up in the school freezer for decades. In the present day, Miss Ringwald was still heartbroken over Dickie's disappearance, able to be brought to tears just by his memory. When Dickie was unfrozen and de-stanked for a second time by her presence and brought to his normal age, the two re-united and presumably continued their relationship.
Appearance[]
Current[]
Miss Ringwald has long palatinate purple hair tied into a floor-length braid, and black eyes. She wears a light mauve blouse and shawl, and a dark purple skirt, and black shoes. She wears a pair of square glasses.
Younger[]
A teenage Miss Ringwald had shorter hair. She wore a long violet prom dress with light pink flower patterns and dark purple rims. Her shoes were dark purple flats.
Personality[]
Miss Ringwald is one of the much nicer and kinder teachers at school. Her poems might be boring to youths, but overall she is a very friendly and patient teacher towards both the students and the Ninja. She is also very loyal and faithful to her love Dickie, whom she is affectionate with.
Relationships[]
Dickie[]
Miss Ringwald and Dickie has been a couple since they were teenagers, and are very loving towards each other. She had been very devastated for years after Dickie's disappearance during the prom of 1985, which she couldn't make it on time, even having her sentiments of missing him seeped into her classes in the present day. She was flabbergasted but then happy when she realized Dickie is still alive, and they have rekindled their relationship ever since.
Randy Cunningham/Norrisville Ninja[]
Miss Ringwald, despite not knowing the Ninja's true identity, respects him like the other citizens do. She was shocked when Ninja was sending her in front of a monster, but then realized his plan was actually right when he actually helped her reunite with the monster, who turned out to be Dickie.
