Super short, super smart, and super sarcastic. Don't let her size fool ya; this girl will rip you to shreds.

XD

Debbie Kang is a 9th grade student at Norrisville High and the editor and investigative reporter for the Norrisville High Gazette Times Tribune Weekly Daily Press Chronicle (NHGTTWDPC) online edition.

Appearance[]

Everyday[]

Debbie, of petite stature, is distinguished by her long, dark blue hair and matching eyes. Her daily ensemble comprises a light coral blouse--cinched at the waist with a brown belt--conjoined with caliginous khaki shorts and a pair of lacquered black slip-on shoes.

Halloween[]

Concerning Halloween, Debbie dons one of two distinct costumes.

Her first Halloween costume constitutes a suit resembling a Mexican Death Bear with a zipper appended, factitious fangs overlaid upon the teeth, and black face paint coating her nose.

Her second Halloween costume consists of a yellow flower headset, a dull green vest, a magenta skirt proportionate to a flower pot, pale green leggings, and dull green shoes.

Winter[]

In winter, Debbie acclimatizes her wardrobe into a light red coat--fastened with a black belt--and a reposeful purple scarf, further embellished by dark trousers, red-and-black-striped leggings protruding from underneath, and stout black shoes.

Stanked Form[]

When stanked by the Sorcerer, Debbie undergoes a process whereby she transmogrifies into a monster--approximately a blue hedgehog--with her hair transmuting into spikes jutting from her back.

Personality[]

Debbie embodies a paragon of diligence and intellect, her forbearance enervated by those bereft of such attributes; however, her acute acumen often manifests itself as acidulous sarcasm, not vacillating to denominate others as ignorant or oppugn their assertions. Nonetheless, she exhibits an unalloyed adoration regarding the Mexican Death Bear, whom she eminently esteems. However, her voracious inquisitiveness often inveigles her to probe into matters that pique her interest, lamentably predisposed to disregard the potential repercussions of such actions, which may inadvertently plunge others into perilous circumstances.

The episode "Debbie Meddle" exemplifies such by exhibiting her endeavor to unveil Randy’s surreptitious identity as the Ninja to the plenary school body, blithely oblivious of the plausible dénouement, thereby accentuating that despite harboring an incandescent perspicacity, Debbie may intermittently lack in prescience.

Additionally, she sustains a caviling predisposition, disregarding Randy’s laudatory attributes solely inasmuch as his academic performance does not parallel hers, engendering a relatively irascible and brusque comportment; furthermore, her ineptitude in earnestly abiding defeat, germinating from her presumptuousness, catalyzes her to become stanked, as substantiated by episodes such as "Stanks Like Teen Spirit".

Relationships[]

Randy Cunningham/Norrisville Ninja[]

Debbie can be considered somewhat unfriendly towards Randy, as in "Viva El Nomicon," she scoffs at Randy and Howard and calls them idiots for their horrible excuse for Spanish-speaking. In "Night of the Living McFizzles," she mocks Randy for saying guys don't get scared, and she doesn't fall for his boasts about his bravery. However, because she is scared, she is somewhat nicer to Randy and reluctantly asks him to walk her and Theresa home, as well as holding his hand when she gets frightened.

While not as impertinent to the Ninja as to Randy, Debbie becomes exacerbated with him while succoring him in assuaging the Mexican Death Bear. Nonetheless, in "All the Juice That's Fish to Swim," she is more stoic with him and assumes his admonition regarding the soupsicles, though she becomes incredulous when espying the Ninja pursuing the truck hauling the Soupsicles apparatus--cloistered by Howard--and resolves to investigate; yet in the end, the Ninja acquiesces that she may compose whatever she desiderates, magnetizing her to devote herself to unbosoming the Ninja's clandestine identity.

Nevertheless, when she divulges that Randy is the Ninja in "Debbie Meddle," she endeavors to promulgate his identity as the Ninja to Norrisville High and nearly prevails; however, Randy and Howard persuade everyone of Randy not being the Ninja, and the NinjaNomicon leverages The Ultimate Lesson to mind-wipe her of the Ninja's confidential identity.

Howard Weinerman[]

Debbie has a low tolerance for Howard, regarding and contending with him coequal to Randy; yet in one circumstance, she becomes irked only to a benign extent when soliciting Howard as to what he expresses but transfigures into a state of galvanization after he apprises her of the Death Bear. Withal, Howard is commensurately vexed by her, kvetching to Randy concerning her activism within "All the Juice That's Fish to Swim," yet he is correspondingly discountenanced by her. Furthermore, after the forenamed episode, she demarcates Howard from her suspects concerning the Ninja's identity. Nevertheless, by the time of the episode "To Smell and Back," Howard becomes somewhat infatuated with Debbie, envisaging her enamored with him, but in corporeality, Debbie evinces no indication of such a proclivity; yet, contrariwise, she is ensouled when she apprehends, in "Let Them Eat Cake Fries," that Howard himself has metamorphosed into an activist in the particular form of "Le Beret."

Theresa Fowler[]

Debbie and Theresa often accompany one another and are ostensibly best friends, as in the theme song and the assemblage amidst "30 Seconds to Math." Moreover, they jaunt to the Whoopee World Frightacular conjointly in "Night of the Living McFizzles," and when Theresa rhapsodizes over Randy's moxie, Debbie rolls her eyes before later conveying Theresa away from gawking at Randy traipsing through the graveyard. Furthermore, they comprise a team at the Best Buds competition in "Best Buds," albeit they do not surmount the first round. They also collaborate as laser tag partners in "Shoot First, Ask Questions Laser."

Heidi Weinerman[]

Debbie is typically amiable with Heidi, owing to their mutual intrusiveness; however, Heidi becomes incensed with her putatively for falsely purporting the Ninja's identity in "Debbie Meddle" and admonishes Debbie for not researching, adjuring her to make sure she fathoms what she reports when disseminating information thereupon.

Principal Slimovitz[]

Tantamount to most students, Slimovitz and his administration disillusion Debbie, exemplified in "Let Them Eat Cake Fries," where she expostulates the moratorium of Cake Fries and is even amenable to the perchance of observing Slimovitz drown in cake batter.
