Battle of the Bands is a longtime music competition being held in Norrisville High.
Description[]
As seen in "30 Seconds to Math", this music contest is about students battling either by themselves or as a band with instrument playing and singing at the school's amphitheater. Winners will be recorded on the wall of the Stall of Fame.
Randy and Howard joined this competition as the band 30 Secs to Math, with Howard eager to crush Heidi's six-year winning streak. Little did anyone realize McFist and Viceroy were planning to sneak in the Truth Tone to expose and destroy the Ninja, ranging from supplying Robo-Apes as caterers for McFist Finger Foods, latching the Truth Tone onto Bash Johnson's turntable, and eventually stealing and tampering with Heidi's Guitar. Randy's identity as the Ninja was almost discovered by McFist and Viceroy, until Howard used his wits to outsmart the villains by using the lyrics of Ninja Inside Of Us All to make all the hypnotized audiences agree they are the Ninja with a metaphorical Ninja inside of them. He then saved everyone at this event from the Truth Tone by destroying Heidi's guitar, ending Heidi's winning streak, and making Howard and Randy the winners of this competition.
Trivia[]
- The Battle of the Bands has apparently run for almost two decades, with Heidi being the winner for the past six years. The other winners of the competition include:
- The Whistle-Stop Spoon Trio
- Nate & The Conscientious Objects
- Hedgehog
- King Felix
- Loose Juice
- Proper Order
- Derp
- I am Not the Walrus
- Bash & the Bros
- Ninjas in My Bedroom
- !?!?
- The Flaming Chin Cakes
- 789
- Since Heidi had won this competition for six years, this means she partook in this competition when she was at around 10 years old. As Bash is in the same grade as Heidi and he joined the competition five years prior to Heidi's six-year winning streak, this would mean he joined the competition at around 6 years old. It thus appears that this competition allows people outside of the school to join, even before they are of high school age.
